Information and Advice
CARES offers a free and confidential Information and Advice Service for Carers and the people they care for within Sandwell.
Your team will
- Offer advocacy for Carers having difficulty in accessing services from statutory bodies including: getting aids and adaptations, care packages, carers’ assessments and respite
- Help you with benefit checks and assist with completing benefit forms and accessing benefits up to appeal level
- Refer Carers to other appropriate voluntary or statutory organisations who can offer relevant help and support to Carers
Money Advice for Carers
Are you worried about money? … Getting into difficulty with paying your bills?
CARES has a NEW service. We can offer you confidential help and support with your money worries and difficulties.
We understand how difficult it can be to manage your finances when your income is restricted. We can help by looking at your income, look to see if you are on the correct benefits and help you to budget.
